Nielsen Expert to Share Insights On Potential Implications If State of Tennessee Allows the Sale of Wine in Food Stores

WHAT:

Lake will share insights on the potential implications if the state of Tennessee allows wine sales in food stores. He will address how distributors, brewers and retailers can maximize sales volume.

   
WHY: Tennessee is one of 17 states that restrict the sale of wine in grocery stores, limiting wine to be sold in liquor stores and Tennessee wineries. Many efforts have been made in trying to change the state’s liquor laws therefore making it important for retailers and wholesalers to understand the possible implications of wine being sold in Tennessee food stores.
