One thing I enjoy about ACNielsen is the impact that I can see on the clients, impact on my work. Almost immediately from the day I started, I was able to proactively take a role where I could impact client business right off the bat, and that continues to this day. I came to ACNielsen because, first of all, there was the industry. I knew I wanted to be in market research, as it offered the number side of marketing—you know, of business—which I wanted to be in. But it also offered the creative side of contributing ideas and things like that on the creative marketing side. I can work on projects, and then, six months later, see a project on the shelf and say, "Hey, I had a part in that, in that product and the development of that product or in its marketing success."

When I came to ACNielsen, I had dreams of working for the company, but I had no idea the magnitude of what I was getting. Here, I am in a position where I have a manager who is working with me to grow within the company. They are encouraging me to seek further education, so that I can better myself and to be an asset to this organization. The senior level management has opened up different doors for each employee. They care about you and your career. It's not just about them and what you have to give the company. The company wants to give back to you. They don't want you to just stay idle in one position; they want you to move on and to grow within the company because as you grow, they grow with you.

The culture and the environment to me, at ACNielsen, is one of growth. And that's the main focus of the company, and you'll hear it when you go to Senior Management meetings all the way down to when you have personal meetings with your immediate manager. It's an environment where you feel like you're going to learn personally. You're going to gain new skills—that's encouraged. We even have requirements of training that we have to meet per year to make sure that we're getting the growth and the skills that we need.
